Silica brick belongs to acidic refractory material, with good acid resistance to erosion, its good thermal conductivity, high load softening temperature, generally above 1620 ℃, only lower than its refractoriness 70 ~ 80 ℃. Silica brick thermal conductivity rises with increasing temperature, there is no residual shrinkage in the oven during, the volume of the silica brick increases with increasing temperature. Therefore, silica brick is coke oven ideal refractory brick, an important part of the modern medium-sized coke oven (such as the combustion chamber, ramps and regenerator) are used silica brick masonry.
