Production process of High Alumina Brick:
The production process of High Alumina Bricks can be divided into as following process:
Raw material mixing, molding, sintering, selection, packing, delivery.
1) Generally, High Alumina brick was molded by dry pressing.
2) By means of mixing the material uniformity in proportion and ageing mixture some time. Then, pour some powders into the mold and dry pressing.
3) After dry pressing, the adobe needs to be pushed in the drying kiln to stove or stay in the air to dry. This progress will need about 3-5 days.
4) After this progress, then push the adobe into the tunnel furnace or shuttle kiln to burn around 1300C. This progress will be need about 5-7 days.
5) After burning, the finished high alumina brick will be packed on pallet.
Features of High Alumina Brick:

Application of High Alumina Brick:
The high alumina bricks are widely applied to industrial furnace, glass furnace, chemical industrial furnace, utility industry furnace lining, smelting furnace, and heat insulation ventilation wall.

The High Alumina Bricks are packed on wooden pallet with papers in each layer and PP film wrapped outside of the whole pallet.
Operation Method and Notice for High Alumina Brick:
In order to make the material of kiln liner function fully and ensure its turnaround, prolong service life, making following provisions for the masonry:
a) Sweep carefully the dust and crumbs on the inside wall of kiln shell.
b) Inside wall of kiln shell should be level up and no irregularity phenomenon.
c) The mortar joint between bricks is controlled in 1.5mm~2mm.
d) Mortar smear should be uniformity and full. Don’t have the lack of the mortar phenomenon. You should smear well the mortar. And you twist mortar with brickwork to extrude a litter mortar.
e) Masonry of kiln liner must be level up and with no slab staggering .You should do your best to avoid malposition, lean, mortar joint uniformity, decentring, hemstitch, straight joint, yawn, bursted, raw seam, warp form the shape of the snake, humping and the mortar is unwell, etc are common faults.
f) According to design, the expansion gap of firebrick must remain. You cannot omit.
g) You should masonry in advance and complex outline part of the kiln lining.
h) Firm whipstitch. You must process finely brick with brick cutter. Don’t process brick with hand. Neck brick should be larger 70% than other brick. The last brick in one plane or the brick in a curve should be 50% larger than other bricks. Fore shaft is the same brick. The machined surface is not suitable to facing the inside hearth.
i) Refractory should be stored in dry warehouse.
