Zirconia hollow ball bricks
Zirconia hollow ball bricks are heat-insulating refractory products made of zirconia hollow balls as the main raw material. The refractoriness is greater than 2400℃, the apparent porosity is 55%~60%, the volume density is 2.5~3.0g/cm3, the compressive strength is not less than 4.9MPa, and the thermal conductivity is 0.23~0.35w/(m· K). The production method of zirconia hollow ball bricks is the same as that of alumina hollow ball bricks, but its melting temperature is higher, reaching more than 2700℃.
Zirconia Bubble Bricks Production Process
The brick is made of zirconia hollow balls (65% ~ 70%) and zirconia fine powder (30% ~ 35%) as raw materials, and boric acid aqueous solution as a binding agent. After mixing evenly, it is formed using a pressurized vibration molding machine. The bricks are dried and fired at 1700~1800℃
Characteristics of zirconia hollow ball bricks
Zirconia bubble brick is a high-performance thermal insulation material with excellent thermal insulation effect. It mainly has the following advantages:
1. Low thermal conductivity: Zirconia hollow ball bricks have extremely low thermal conductivity, which can effectively reduce heat transfer. This low thermal conductivity can greatly improve the insulation effect and ensure stable temperature around the heat source.
2. No deformation in high-temperature environments: Zirconia hollow ball bricks have excellent high-temperature stability and can withstand extremely high temperatures, making them difficult to deform or melt.
3. Zirconia hollow ball bricks have excellent chemical stability and can still maintain good performance in corrosive environments such as acids and alkalis. Therefore, the insulating effect of this material is not reduced by the action of chemicals.
Zirconia Bubble Bricks Application
Zirconia hollow ball bricks have good high-temperature strength and stable pore structure, and are used as thermal insulation materials for furnace covers and other parts of ultra-high temperature equipment, such as medium frequency high temperature furnaces, carbon black reaction furnaces, tungsten rod furnaces, molybdenum furnaces, etc.
Zirconia hollow ball bricks are heat-insulating refractory products with excellent performance. The maximum safe use temperature is 2200°C. They are used as high-temperature lining materials in direct contact with flames in thermal equipment in metallurgy, petrochemical, electronics and other industries, with good results.
